End of School 7
One of the must things to do in London - watch the Wimbledon Championships. It's a once in a lifetime experience. Enjoyed every moment of it, be it queueing under the hot sun, watching the pros play nerve-wrecking tennis, or just watching games from a huge screen. The ambience was priceless.

End of School 6
My last trip outside of London with Hadi before I graduate - Brighton. We covered most of Brighton in one day -- had a lavish seafood lunch, visited The Royal Pavilion, The North Laine, The Lanes, Brighton Pier, and of course the beach. It was a wonderful quaint place. I loved it so much. :0)

End of School 4
In 2006 when I first came to London, Mama told me that I should go and see the wonderful flowers in Regent's Park, but sadly every time I go the flowers were not in bloom. After 3 years worth of trying, yesterday was my lucky day! Had a 'Farewell Picnic' with Hadi, Ajie, Amal, Jaja, Fatin and her sister at Regent's Park. We talked, laughed, golek-golek in the sun, and strolled around Regent's Park to admire the huge colourful roses. Good day. :0)

End of School 2
Hopped on the No.15 bus from Paddington Basin with Hadi, and walked through Oxford Street + Regent Street. Roamed around Piccadilly Circus, and ended the night with a stand-up comedy show at the Comedy Store. :0)

End of School 1
The 'End of School' series would mostly be random pictures of my last days strolling around London. These are posted mainly for my memory's sake. :0)

Spent the day with Miss Fara Alyaa Azmin. We sarted off at Waterloo, walked along the Thames River, rested on grass-covered furniture, appreciated mysterious art and videos at the Tate Modern, rolled like hamsters in a huge cylinder, crossed the Millennium Bridge, observed the beauty of the St Paul's Cathedral, all done while we chit chatted about nothing.

Hit Me Like a Ray of Sun
I still can't believe I went to Beyonce's concert a few days ago. It was AMAZING. She is AMAZING. She is really bloody talented. I can't believe I have actually heard her sing live. She singed so well, I could cry. I can't believe I actually saw her dance in front of me. She danced and moved so enthusiastically, I could die. Beyonce is a legendary performer. I had so much fun! I love her. I loved the concert. I love the O2 Arena. I love Alyaa. :0)

My hair is so long....
....it covers most of the upper half of my body.

....it even looks long after I've curled it.

....it taught me how to braid my own hair nicely.

....it gave me the opportunity to look like Rihanna. Haha.

Surprise surprise. :0)

New leaf, New life
When something begins, you generally have no idea how it's going to end. You can plan and work hard to try and guarantee that a good outcome will come out of it all. But in the end, all anyone could do is hope.

While in school, I have hoped that the classes and examinations will all end soon. I have hoped to be a working adult, to be able to support my own life and also my family. I have had many hopes and dreams about the day I finish my degree, the day I have to start working towards developing my career, the day I should start shaping my life.

Now, the day has come. Today is the day I should turn a new leaf and start a new life. Today is the day my hopes and dreams for the future should change. Today is the day I start to seriously worry about my future.

But then, we spend our whole lives worrying about the future, planning for the future, trying to predict the future, as if figuring it out can somehow cushion the blow. We make up hopes and dreams that can help us glide through the present positively to get to a better future. But in truth, the future is always changing. The future is the home of our deepest fears, our wildest hopes. The future brings too many uncertainties, it's scary.

However, in the end, having all these funny ideas about the future is not worth it. Because when it finally reveals itself, the future is never the way I imagined it.

To all those graduating or just generally taking a big step in your life -- Good luck. Stop worrying about the future, and let's together enjoy the present as it is.
