Spotted! XOXO Gossip Girl.

Ladies & Gentlemen, that is indeed a picture of Hadi Abdillah eating Roti Jala with Kuah Duriann!!! Hahahahah!

After hearing Puan say that she brought Kuah Durian and Roti Jala all the way from Ipoh, Auntie Sue, Auntie Lina and I just had to make Hadi eat the so-called 'Perak' delicacy, because as previously written here, Hadi has never even heard of eating Roti Jala with Kuah Durian!

And so he did. And he liked it. =0) Yeayy!

Oh, one more thing. Remember the previous post I wrote saying that Aleeya is scared of Hadi? Well, not anymooorrree. Not only is she not scared of Hadi anymore, she is always asking for Hadi nowadays!!! Whenever I see her, be it at her place or mine, she will always ask, "Abang Hadi mana?". Ish mengada betul budak tu. Dulu takut, sekarang dah jatuh cinta pulak dia kat Hadi. Aleeya kena jampi ke? Haha.
Hadi, me and the cheeky Aleeya!

Well, I'm happy to be home. Happy to be having dinner with the family. Happy to be with my loved ones. =0) Yeay.

Mama's new babies.
That's Choki and her three kittens;
one white, one grey-ish, and the other has black stripes.
She gave birth to these small cats 2 days before I arrived in KL.
It was her welcome home present for me. =0)
This is the white kitten.
She is very naughty, and sneaky.
She loves to follow behind Mama's feet, and it's funny looking at her bum bobbing up and down when she walks.
She looks so funny when she walks.
This is the grey-ish kitten.
She has thick fur.
Everyone loves her for her thick fur.
She is pretty, but she is lazy.
She spends most of the day letting her siblings play with her, while she stays put.
And this is the one with the black stripes.
He is the only boy, but the smallest of them all.
He is so active, he jumps everywhere!
But most importantly, he likes Yameen.
He always comes to Yameen, and sleeps on her lap. =0)
And here are the three of them, squashing themselves in a square bowl.
Dah ada tempat tido elok2, tanak tido situ.
Nak sumbat gak dalam bekas kecik ni.
Haih, kittens..kittens....

And those are Mama's new babies. They are the ones who entertain me at home because the home is mostly empty during the day. =0)

Oh, and they don't have actual names yet. We are all still discussing.

Kawarau!
So, I did one of the 'once-in-a-lifetime' things we intend to do in our lives. Well, not something as extreme as the sky dive, or the wrestle with a lion thing. Just the bungy jump. Which, I would want to leave as a 'once-in-a-lifetime' thing, because bungy-ing is crazy I tell you. CRAZY.

Let me briefly tell you the story of My Bungy Jump.

  • Booked for the Kawarau Bridge Bungy Jump through Christchurch's I-site for the 12pm jump on the next day.
  • Flew to Queenstown from Christchurch, and arrived in Queenstown around 10.30am.
  • Checked in, and went to the bungy place.
  • They strapped me up and I had to wait in line behind three other jumpers.
  • Paced back & forth, looked down the river, and kept singing the "I Believe I Could Fly" song to comfort myself.
  • Saw the three other jumpers fly. They made it look easy. They barely shrieked.
  • I was tied up, and was ready to go!
  • I went to the edge of the platform, looked down, and panicked.
  • The bungy dude counted "5,4,3,2,1.." and I yelled "Stop! Noo!".
  • The countdown and the yelling repeated for a few times.
  • The bungy dude called another bungy dude to hold my hand, and claimed that he would jump with me.
  • Thinking that he was going to jump with me, I forced myself to jump to avoid being pulled down by the dude.
  • And there I went.
  • As quoted from Ali, "You gave drama to the jump! You were the only one who shouted, and believe me, it wasn't the excited-Woohoo shout. It was the 'OMG-I'm-so-freaking-scared-I-would-die' shout."
To answer some of your questions :

--Yes, it was definitely safe.

--No, I did not feel like dying.

--Yes, it was scary.

--No, I might never do any other bungy jump.

--Yes, it is one of the most scariest things to do in the world.

Well, at least all of you loved ones can relax knowing that I would never jump to my death. I am too scared.

Here are some pictures of my jump. I have a DVD with the recording of my jump, but I think I would only let you watch it if you pay me... 100 000 pounds? It's a bit humiliating, har har.

Thank you Ali Imran for being there for me. And for telling me I was still alive while I was hanging upside down. Har har.

Oh, one last thing. To those who would want to do this someday, when you get up there, just jump. Don't think. Just JUMP.

Aleeyyyyyaaaa!
As soon as she saw me at the door, she had a huge smile on her face! Seronoknya tengok Aleeya happy seeing me home! Yahoo! And then...

"Kak Yamin, Eeya nak Barbie Doll Kaler kaler!"

I hugged her, kissed her cheek, made her kiss mine, and then..

"Kak Yamin, Eeya nak Barbie Doll yang kaler kaler rambut macam dalam tv tu.."

I played with her hair, chit chatted with her, let her big bum sit on my lap, let her play around with my phone, closed one eye when I found out she deleted my songs on my phone, and then...

"Kak Yamin, Eeya nak Barbie Doll yang kaler kaler tu tau.."

And it went on and on throughout the night. Haha. How can I say no to a three year old girl who can sing almost all the songs played on the radio, including my favourite song - Lelaki Ini.

So, two days after, Hadi and I took Aleeya to buy her Barbie Doll kaler kaler, which was such an adventure!

Firstly, she was so scared of Hadi. It was so cute looking at her trying to avoid Hadi's eyes but at the same time wanting to look at what he's doing. It was so cute looking at her roll her eyes, and then let out a heavy sigh to Hadi everytime he asks her "Eeya nak Barbie Doll mana?". It was so cute hearing her whisper to me that she wants the Barbie Doll kaler-kaler, soft enough to make sure Hadi can't hear her.

Secondly, punyalah susah cari Barbie Doll tu. We first went to the Curve, as advised by Aleeya's mummy dearest, but malangnya we couldn't even find a Barbie Doll corner in the toyshop. Baah.. Nasib baik OU was nearby, and Parkson decorated its Barbie Doll corner pretty well, so it was easy to find. And my cousin has really sharp eyes, she spotted her Barbie Doll kaler-kaler as soon as we stepped into Parkson. Har har.

Thirdly, ...well. It was such an adventure shopping with a three year old who grips your hand to avoid being near the other person walking with you. Har har.

But I'm happy I spent the day with Aleeyaaaa! And I'm so happy I made her happy with her Barbie Doll 'kaler-kaler'. She is soo cute, and so bising you would be surprised she is a three year old.

Well, like cousin like cousin. Har har.

this is aleeya's mommy speaking...am thankful that i have a wonderful niece who enjoys the company of her little cousin. but, the whole Barbie episode became such a nasty thing in the end...and poor Hadi to be dragged into it as well.

let's just concentrate on making little aleeya qistina one happy, bubbly child!

The day Ali and Teddy saved my life.
I lost my hotlink simcard in London. I put it in my oyster card case, and one day in the hustle and bustle of hopping up and down London buses, I dropped the simcard. I was quite disappointed with myself, because I've just topped up a few days before to avoid my line being cut, and if some Malaysian in London saw the simcard, they might use up my credit because I had international roaming. But then I realised that I was thinking too much, and that scenario would be near impossible, har har. So, nevermind. Daddy can make a new one for me before I came home. Problem solved.

But then, since Malaysia had this 'must-register-simcard' policy, Papa was unable to make a new simcard without my IC, even though he had my IC number with him. So, then I thought, nevermind. I'll make a new one once I come home. So, making a new simcard was on my immediate to-do list.

We went to the Maxis booth in Giant Shah Alam to make my new simcard. Honestly, they were so unhelpful, but I do not wish to elaborate on that. Anyway, after the man typed up my pretty telephone number into Maxis' system, some dude's name came up on the screen instead of mine, BUT that dude 'apparently' had MY IC number. So since my name is not consistent with the one that appeared on his screen, tak berjayala I buat simcard di situ. I tried telling him that the number on the screen was my IC number, but the man couldn't care less. The man then shoo-ed us, and told us to go to a Maxis Center.

So, Papa and I went to Sunway Pyramid 2, which by the way has the COOLEST parking system! Har har. Aaaanyway, we went to the Maxis Center, told this girl at the counter about my little problem, and thank God, she was really helpful! She said someone must have mis-registered something, so she asked me if I remembered any of my Active-5 (which is now Active-10) numbers....

....and that was when Ali and Teddy saved my life. Thank God you both still use the same numbers, and thank God my brain remembers numbers well. Har har.

So those in Malaysia, I am using my old number! Text or call me aight? Oh, but please include your name, because I don't have anyone's number. Har har.

It's good to be home.

Cerlama
How well do we know our parents? We have only known them from the time we were born, but have you ever really thought about what they have gone through before having you?

I am slowly learning about Papa through his kampung stories. Quite interesting actually, why don't you guys check it out. His 'Cerlama' (which is formed from the words Cerita Lama), is linked on the side of this blog.

My dad was once a kid after all. Har har.

P/S : I am home. Woopdeedoo? Entahla.
