New Home.

Aliaa and me!

I have a new home! And new roomie! Actually, we moved in a long time ago. Just never had the proper time to blog about it. Haha. We've shopped in Woolworths, Argos, Ikea, and a lot more shops to brighten our small home with many cute little things! Yeay! I'm sure it's gonna be a great year! *Oh, and we have a cute landlord too! Heheeee...*

Oh, btw, this song's our 'theme song'. The song was picked for no particular reason. It's just a nice song which both of us keep singing in our heads. And I just wanted to put it here for your benefit. =0)

Lookalike

Nope, the left picture is not a baby picture of the person in the right picture.

Nope, they're not sisters. Not related whatsoever.

Both pictures were taken in the same year.

Both persons have the same name, just with different spellings.

And both very dear to me. =0)

Miss the one on the left terribly; and the one on the right is actually next to me right now. Haha.

Bangkok Bangkoookk!
Few pointers about Bangkok :

  • When you hear the National Anthem being played at any MRT or Sky Train Station, you must abruptly stop walking, and stand up straight to respect the song.


  • If you do not know how the King looks like after going to Bangkok, you must be blind. His picture is on 80% of the billboards in Bangkok.


  • Roughly 50% of His Royal Majesty's huge pictures show him having a camera hung around his neck. He must love photography so much to have a formal photo of him with him having a camera around his neck.


  • Going through a traffic jam in Bangkok is a must. Everyday.


  • Amazing Race participants would love the taxi drivers in Bangkok; they drive super fast without having to ask them to. Can't imagine how fast the taxi will go if the passenger actually tells the driver to speed up.


  • Bangkok is a great place to shop. Be it at the malls, markets, or the roadside stalls.

When I first visit Bangkok I found that I can see Temples everywhere, especially during the tour of the Chao Phraya River. I've saw the real lifes of people living on both sides of the river, It's a heart warming experience for me. One things to remember: when visiting temples, show respect to the Buddha, and the monks. Take off your shoes before entering into the hall and don't wear shorts or tank tops in temples.
