50 Years for Malaysia; 8 Years for the Pio-Nine-Nine-ers

This is part of the 'Pioneer Batch' of SKS9, which graduated from that school in the year 1999. Hence, the name 'Pio-Nine-Nine-ers' - which was Syafiq K's idea, btw. Syafiq, who was our Ketua Pelajar at that time, was the one who was so determined to have a gathering for us 'Pio-Nine-Nine-ers'. This gathering was actually one of his many 'Must-Accomplish-Dreams', and at the end of the night I was very happy to hear him say, "This was a dream come true."

It was indeed a dream come true, for all of us.

SELAMAT HARI MERDEKA ke-50.
Woohoo!!

Keluang Woman
This just has to be put in the history books.

I slept over at Opu's last Saturday night. Waking up on Sunday morning, eh wait, Sunday afternoon, Omar, Opu and I were all hungry, and decided to go out searching for foooood. Opu and I just jumped out of bed, washed our faces and went into the car with our jammies on. Omar was supposed to be the one getting out of the car to buy our Nasi Ayam while Opu and I sat waiting in the car. There was no need for Opu and I to change our clothes based on that plan, so we didn't.

After going to three places in search af Nasi Ayam, our hands were still empty. All the kedai Nasi Ayam were closed. Opu and I were super devastated. We had our tastebuds craving for Nasi Ayam. Sedih kan?? Haih.

But then, we were still hungry. And we were in front of 223, a row of warungs in PJ. Suddenly, Opu just turned the engine off, and said, "Makan nasi campur la." I was like "NnnnOooooOooo. I can't go out to amik lauk, I'm wearing this!" pulling on my 'pretty' outfit. Dissmissing me, Opu just stepped out of the car, and made me step out as well. Opu kept on saying "Alaa. Everyone here wears thaaat! Takyah malu laaaaa," while Omar kept giggling. I was super MALU, but I was hungry. And I might never meet those people again. So I figured, either put on a thick face and buy your food, or go hungry for the rest of the day.

So, I just held my head high, and bought my food wearing only a kaftan.

Gwen.fm?
No, I am not gonna babble about the concert, because I didn't go. Blehh.

I just want to point out the funny fact that hitz.fm actually wanted everyone to have the 'Gwen' experience at the time of the concert, by making their station into 'Gwen.fm'. How nice of hitz.fm. =0) I went out to watch Ratatouille at the IMAX theatre with Opu and then went to have dinner at MURNI. (Yes, YUMMMMMMYYYY!) Mama is in Perak, so I had the privilege to drive to KL on my own, haha. Anyhu, on our way from KL to Murni, I suddenly realised 'GWEN F.M' written across the radio display, and also at the same time heard the D.J saying 'Bla bla bla at Gwen.fm!'. I looked at Opu and pointing to the radio asking "Gwen.fm????? Diorang saja nak those yang tak pi the concert to know what they're missing ke?". Haha. They played Gwen's songs over and over again, which got a bit irritating at first, but then they also played old No Doubt songs, which brought a lot of "Oh my God! Dah lama tak dengar lagu ni!!" from both Opu and I. =0P

Anyhu, today's gotcha was HILARIOUS! It started off with this guy (not Rudy or JJ) calling up a girl, saying that he saw the girl somewhere, and was interested in the girl but malu to approach the girl, so he asked the girl's friend for her number, bla bla bla. The girl got all excited, asking 'Why didn't you come up and say Hi?', bla bla bla. The the guy wanted to ask her out, and then asked her whether she was married or had a boyfriend. She said no. AND THEN, suddenly came another guy's voice, saying 'Whattt!' (or something similar to that, I'm not so sure) and the girl asked, 'Who's that?', and the guy was like 'Takkan u tak kenal I sapa kot?!!!'. Obviously that was the boyfriend. HAHAHAHAH! Kesian the girl. Tula, pandai2 ckp hang single lagi. But sumpah I gelak gilaaa. I mean, I kesian kat the girl, but that was super funny man! Girl, I hope things go well with your beau. =0P

Anyhu, just wanted to share with you a quote from Ratatouille,

Remy's dad : "You can't change nature."
Remy : "Change IS nature, dad."

Ratatouille was a nice movie, all of you pi la tengok. =0)

Kenangan
The past holds dear memories to everyone.

The problem about me, I don't want the past to be in memories.

I want it to be in the present.

Wait. Thinking again, who doesn't?

"No don't worry with your suitcase, dear
And don't worry with your suitcase, dear
Cause the people out to get you
They don't know that you're here
So don't worry with your suitcase, dear."

Karma
I so agree with Erin.

BUT, because of this belief I've been disappointed quite a few times this year alone. Muahaha. I guess karma is biting me back in the a**. I've been unfair to some, and in return others are unfair to me. Blehh.

Oh. Erin's last paragraph is so true.

"The moral to the story goes
Never leave your heart
In a box
Locked up
With cold cold ice
Never leave your heart alone"

-Never Leave Your Heart Alone by Butterfly Boucher

Mary had a little lamb
Guess what?! Yameen has a new toy! YeahooOo!! And she's using it now! YeahooOo!!

Btw, if any of you have nothing to do and you have internet connection, I highly recommend you to download any song from Grey's Anatomy. Just type 'Grey's Anatomy' in the search box. I promise you will thank me later. Muahaha.

Change is inevitable. For the better or worse, no one would know. And bear in mind that those statements apply to me too.

Everyone is grown up! They're either driving their own cars or giving out their business cards or using the phrase 'Insyaallah next year. Don't worry, I'll definitely invite you.' Hahuha!! Everyone's grown up! Eh, but I think I'm not quite there yet. =0)

Am I supposed to let it happen or make it happen? This particular issue is a bit sensitive. I tak tau la nak buat apa. And because of that I'm doing nothing and expecting nothing. Whatever will be, will be.

Eh wait. I am sort of expecting something. But only because as Eno said, I haven't been given any reason not to.

On a totally different issue, I'M SUPER DETERMINED THIS TIME!! Papa, Mama, Apai, Ang, Amil, Opu, Lukman - don't make me give up!!! Muahaha!!! I CAN DO IT!!

Hmmm... It's raining. That means I am going to turn my room inside out and rearrange everything today! YeahooOo!!

Btw, if you feel like calling, call please. =0)
