London, here I come!
FINALLY got my offer letter. =0P So people, I'm going to City University! And before you ask 'Where the hell is City Uni?', it's in LONDON. Heisy. City Uni may not be the ever so popular London School of Eonomics, but it is indeed the best (or second best, I'm not sure) university for Actuarial Science, and that is indeed the course I'm taking. Blehh.

My term is supposedly starting on the 18th of Sept. I havent exactly booked my flight, but hopefully I'm going on the same flight as Alia (another Bnk Neg scholar going to City Uni), which is on the 16th of Sept. So people who are currently in Msia and planning to send me off, make urselves free on the night of the 16th. Haha.

And definitely I will be having a doa selamat or maybe just makan2 at my house. The exact date has yet to be confirmed, but it will most probably be next weekend, since that would be my last weekend here. (aaaawwwwww.....) Invitations will be sent out, dont worry. Just make sure I have your current number, if any of u have changed numbers.

And people who will be missing me later, please make an appointment with me. Hahhaahahha! Kiddng. But I really do want to spend time with you guys before I go. Especially those I haven't seen for so long, the ones who already miss me now. Those yang gedik pergi Uni jauh2 like Syidin. I just had to mention his name. Well, bukannya dia bace pon my blog kan. =0P

I roughly have 16 days left here in Msia, for this year. I am quite certain I will come back next year for Summer Holidays. Hahahahaa. Anyways, I will constantly update this blog for your benefit because I know you'll miss me. Heheeee...

Cute Aleeyaaaaa

Yesterday I spent my day with Aleeeyyyaaaaaa!!!! And of course the mother, the dearest Auntie Sue had to tag alongg. =0P

Auntie Sue and I went to One Utama, to shop for Aleeya. She needed an upgrade to her wardrobe because she is of couse growing taller, and buncit-er. Hahaaa. I didn't do much of the shopping since Auntie Sue made me run after Aleeya whenever she ran around. Blehh. Well, I haven't had a baby around for so long, so the running was kinda fun. Hahahahhaah!!

It was fun spending time with dear Aleeya. Ynoe, she s only 18 months old. I fear once I'm over in UK, she'll forget me. And then when I come back, she won't recognise me. =0( Mana boleehh..

Auntie Sue, you have to put a picture of me by her bedside so that she doesn't forget me tau!

And, in case there's gonna be a sister or brother for Aleeya, make sure he/she knows me! Tayang my picture to the newborn!!! That is IF one may come while I'm over there laaa.. Hahaaa... =0P

Kisses to Aleeya. =0)

P/S : The picture above is taken from Auntie Sue's friendster account without her permission. Hahaa. Thanx anyways Auntie Suueeee.. =0)

A few big things happened this week.

First, Zaza has flown off to Wisconsin, USA. Good luck to her! =0)

Second, Lukman has gone back to France. Boo hoo. Well, hopefully I'll get to see you more after this compared to before since I'm considerably nearer once I'm in London. Blek.

Third, Diyana, Anisa, Arina and myself went to Genting to have fun, and we sure did! It was the girls' holiday, and it was a blast! Thanks to you guys, because it's definitely the company that made the whole trip exciting. =0) To those who were supposed to go but didn't go, you missed a lot! =0P

Forth, I finally cut my hair. Ha. Ha.

Okay, this post is rather short and brief. And I do have a lot of pictures concerning each event, but I'm kinda malas now. So the pics will come later.

But, I'm not gonna post any pic about my new hair. Those who wanna see it, jumpa I!

Btw, I baru sedar I'm kinda leaving soon! And a lot more is still yet to be done!!! Oh NnnNooooOOoOOOOoOOO!!! =0P

Lake House

I love this movie. This is probably the only movie that I love, whose story line is not remotely possible in real life. FYI, I'm not a big fan of illogical fictions, for example a talking cat, a flying person, travelling through time, being invincible etc etc. Ynoe, things that you wouldn't see happening outside the movie screen. But this movie, I loved it so much even though the story line was totally impossible! And I probably loved it more because of its illogical plot! I suke gile!

Maybe I love the movie because as Opu said, I 'jiwang'. Blekk. Well, I don't really like all those sappy, cheesy romantic movies. This one was different. It wasn't that jiwang, I think. I suka gile! As illogical as it may be, it seemed so real to me.

Alex, played by Keanu Reeves was sooo sweet! I mean, given the circumstances he and Kate (played by Sandra Bullock) were in, he still wanted to take care of her and love her even though it was nearly impossible! Okay, maybe I am a bit of a romantic. Well that's not really a curse right? I geram la dgn movie ni. Gerammm.

And, the lake house itself was so pretty! Geramm!

I love the picture below. It shows the lovely couple together, with the Lake House as its background. Love this movie.

Plus, the song played for its trailer is one of my fav songs - Somewhere Only We Know by Keane.=0)

haihhh.. now that you ingatkan i about the song maybe i pon have a tiny hint of jiwangness in me... but i guess only a song or music could bring that tiny bit out... not a movie with an old n fat lukin keanu. ahahahhahaha... but the movie was sweetlaaa.. oklaaa

By Anonymous soraya barakbah, at Tuesday, August 22, 2006 3:08:00 PM

hey opu, keanu is still hot la..although face expression die teruk..haha..yameen, u mmg jiwang but u pretend to be this ganas, garang and strong girl..but everyone tau u r soft, jiwang and easily touched by this type of movie..haha..and i knoe another reason y u like this movie.. u tgk dgn org yg BEST!! hahaaha (",)

By Anonymous Wazien Wafa, at Friday, August 25, 2006 5:37:00 AM

might that orang 'BEST' happen to be a 'GUY' who thinks and old keanu is still hot?? omg.. BESTnyaa ORANG TUUUUU...

yameen, i think lake house is one of the most cliche movie ever!! and there's JIWANG written all over it ok??

when i was watchiing that moviekan, i was trying my best not to sleep laaaa....

and its illogical plot makes it worse!! sorrry!! :p

By Anonymous Rahimy, at Saturday, August 26, 2006 7:09:00 AM

Marc has a baby booyyy!!!! YayayayyYYYyyyYyYY!!!

The son to Marcellies Marcellinus was born on the 20th of August 2006, somewhere in Sabah. (Sorry, I dont know the exact hospital. =0P) For those who don't know, Marc was my first instructor when I started kickboxing, and from there we became close friends. He's now officially my first ever close friend to become a father! Hehee.. That statement still sounds funny in my head, "Marc's a father!". =0P Ynoe, we all thought he was getting a girl all this while. Suddenly, boy keluar. Hahaa! Well, I'm glad the pregnancy part is over. Marc has been worried about it these past few weeks. Well, what father wouldn't kan?

Anywaysss... Congratz to Marc. I knoe the baby will have a loving and caring father. =0)

And here's me and Marc during the kicking event we had a few months back. =0)

So, I'll just link up the site that describes the laptop, and korang bace la sendiri. The only thing I want to point out is that mine is supposedly 'limited edition' and it is red in colour, and not black. Plus, the red is glittery and shimery. Heheee! You kene faham. I went to buy this thingy wth my mum, mestila ambik warna merah. Hahaa. So fr now on, since I dah ade my own laptop, I'll try to blog more often. =0)

Nonetheless, it was fun. Probbly because I went with a bunch of crazy animals, and they were finally 'home'. Hahaa!! Tak percaye?? Here are their pictures before and after their transformation from animals to human beings.. Heheee..

Full days!
I was extremely busy these past few days! This post would be a summary of all happenings. =0)

FRIDAY : 11th of AUGUST 2006

I did a favour for Rohaida a.k.a K-do. Don't ask how she got that name. =0P She has this photography assignment to do, and she needs three 'models' to pose for her. Zeha and I were two of the models, and the third person was K-do's friend. Mind you, 'modeling' or even 'posing' in front of a camera for someone else never came to my 'Must-Do-Before-I-Die' list, because I never thought I would be asked to do something like that. So, initially I thought it was a funny idea, but K-do needed help and I haven't heard from her for so long. At least one more friend won't be gone with the wind.

We took the pictures around the Dataran Merdeka/Bangunan Sultan Abdul Samad area. That was the first time I knew that that place was just a walking distance fr a train station. Hahaa!! Anyways, the photo taking session was around 2hrs, I think. K-do needed many pictures to make sure she had enough for her assignment.

Would love to put up some pictures here, but all the pictures are with K-do.
=0P

SATURDAY : 12th of AUGUST 2006

Went to the PC Fair in KLCC with Mama and Papa. Finally bought a laptop! I do not want to crap about my laptop just yet, because I haven't actually recieved the laptop yet. Only when I do will I crap about that. =0P

Later that evening, mama placed a downpayment for a car. The car is for Apai, not me. But, since I am going off to London soon, papa thinks I should have the privilege of using it first. Yeaahh!! Since I haven't received the car either, I wouldn't want to tell you what car or the colour of the car or stuff like that. Worry not, I'll talk bout this later.

SUNDAY : 13th of AUGUST 2006

Had a barbeque for my old primary school friends! Me and Luk hosted this small bbq with the intention of refreshing our relationships with these people. Those present besides me n Luk were Nabil, Mus + Ili, Syafiq, Leez, Zizi, and Aqilah. These people were my classmates in standard 6, which was in the year 1999. Wow. I was in primary school in the 90s! =0P

I must say, the bbq was a success! Despite the large number of years I havent met most of these people, we sure had a lot to talk about! It was really great to just sit down, eat and talk.

And, I have pictures! =0)

MONDAY : 14th of August 2006

Finally went to Melaka to take my SPM certificate. Me, Luk, Mus and Nabil went in Luk's cute little Kenari. =0P Luk and Mus are from MRSM Jasin, so I decided to tag along since Jasin and Ayer Keroh are in the same state. Nabil was supposedly an extra company, even though he didn't really play the role well, because sleeping is not considered being a good company!! Hehee.. =0P

The journey to Melaka was tiring, mainly because all of us were busy with the bbq the night before. =0P Luckily Lukman was a good driver, even though we almost banged into some lorries/cars. =0P Hehee.

We went to MRSM Jasin first. That was my first time over there despite being a student in Melaka for five years. The school was empty! After getting Luk and Mus' certificates, we were trying to find Mus's cousin, but we couldn't even find anyone! Rupa-rupanya, they were having exams.. Hahaa. =0P

Then we proceeded to KYS. Nothing much there, of course. =0P I just went to the office, took my certificate, chit-chatted with Ibu, Mr Goon, Kak Yati and a few others, and left. It was almost 5pm, and we had to start heading home. So I ddnt really have time to mingle around. Maybe next time.

Here's a picture of us in the car on the way back. I was bored, so the camera was a good piece of entertainment, heh.
=0P

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Lukman's driving, Mus is just smiling to the camera, I'm the pretty one there and I think you can see a small piece of Nabil behind me. =0P

I think my days will become busier after this, since Luk, Nabil and Mus are going back to their countries soon and the next time I'll see them is still far to go. I'm also going off, so I should spend all the time I can with these ppl. Okay, maybe I'll see Luk and Mus often since they are in France, but meeting Nabil who's all the way in Russia? Not really planning to make that a frequent thing to do. =0P Oh well. We'll still see each other in Malaysia. =0)

Regularity
A few days back, Erin wrote a post titled 'regularity', talking about 'bodyclocks' and stuff. I think my bodyclock is crazy, and I dont know why because I never really made an effort to change it, if the only way it would change is by me changing it. =0P

Since I've been on holiday for 2 months++ doing nothing specific, (as in no job or classes to attend to) OBVIOUSLY I have been enjoying the mornings wrapped up in my cozy blanket with eyes closed, dreaming about whatever. The usual time I actually get out of bed is probably between 10am to 1pm. =0P Well, I should enjoy the privilege of staying in bed late while I can, right!

Anywaysss, Ive been waking up so freaking early these past few days! And when I say freaking early, it really is FREAKING early! My eyes will suddenly pop open at around 7.30am, and that is really early for someone who has nothing to do! Somehow, I wouldn't be able to continue my sleep, so I'll go walk around the house to find something to do... The first time daddy saw me up early, he rubbed his eyes to make sure that he wasn't dreaming!
=0P
Maybe my bodyclock's not the problem. Maybe something's happening to me..... OH NOOoooOOOOooOoOooO!! (Okay, that was lame. This shows how bored I am to be up so early! =0P)

Enough with that. Today, Teda flies off to the US. Good luck to her. May she come back a full-fledged American! =0P

The Day
7th August initially came as a fearful day. It was definitely 'The Day' for me. The day that decides my life, my future.... Okayla, maybe it's not exactly 'The Day', but at that moment it certainly felt like it.

I have been freaking out for almost a week, trying to think of the worst that could happen and how I have to accept the worst if the worst comes. Believe me, even though I spent all those days thinking about it while trying to build my strength to face whatever the day may bring, I was not prepared to face anything. Having nightmares about it definitely didn't help, and believe me I've had enough nightmares to make me not want to sleep at night.

I planned to arrive late that day, hoping I could just walk in, get it, and walk away, regardless of what I may recieve. I was in no mood to be stalled by those with curious minds, who may want to compare my earnings with theirs. Believe me, there is quite a big number of those around. Little did I know that the office only opened their doors the hour I arrived, which was at 3pm. Because of that and the fact that hundreds of people were there for the same reason, we had to queue up, and I ended up waiting for almost an hour before I got to the office door.

Once in front of the door, my heart beated so fast, it could win a race against light. I took a glance at daddy, who was waiting in the car a few metres away hoping to gain some comfort. I know he will still love me regardless of what happens, but yet I was still worried. Then the face of mama flashed in my head, and thanx to her, I managed to gain back my senses. Both of them have always dubbed me as 'The Worrier' because at times like this they think I worry too much. Well, maybe I do, but there's no harm in that right?

Anyways, once in the office my whole body was shaking. The people in the office had all smiley faces, I'm not sure if that helped me calm down. Somehow my name starting with 'Y' didnt really help, it was a bit too far down the alphabet. Mrs Ho took a few seconds more to find my A-Level results, probably because it was far down. Once it was handed to me, I looked down and lucky me, I smiled. =0)

The capitalised alphabets typed on the paper were BAAA. You can't imagine how happy I am to get that B. Btw, the B is for further maths, the subject I have been getting an E throughout my course in Taylors. So you have to understand that I am billions of times happier to get that B compared to the other 3As. Dont get me wrong, I am definitely thankful I got and A for each of the others, but the B means a lot more to me than anything else.

So, I am going to London. =0) Which university, I'm not sure. But, I am going to London. =0D

Sorry I havent been updating; havent really been online much. I dont have a laptop of my own 'yet' ;0P, so if I want to use the home laptop, I'll have to bicker with my brothers who hog the laptop all the time. Believe me, it's not easy explaining to them that the home laptop is not theirs alone. Oh well, what else are brothers for if not bickering over small matters like this. =0P

Anyways, there's this matter about 'regulating' blogs. Apparently they want to set rules on what can and cannot be put on the internet. 'They' (whoever 'they' may be..) want blogs that are informative and not full of bull-shit. =0P Oh well, I guess I should be imprisoned, because mine is definitely not informative and definitely full of crap. Hahaa. Yes, I understand that these 'rules' are meant for blogs which can arise unwanted questions on important matters such as issues involving the government, trial cases, religion stuff etc etc. Oh well. A blog is a blog is a blog. And it should be taken as a blog. It's just a place where people place down their opinions, and that is allowed right? Or maybe we can't really express our opinions publicly. I dunno.

Changing the topic, I want to apologise to Teda for not attending her doa selamat last saturday. I know she will probably not read this post, but I cant really apologise to her directly, because I'm running low on cash, so I cant really SMS or call her because my fone credit has been RM0.00 for the last few days. I hope I can send her off at the airport or sumthng. Anyhows, good luck to her.

Since I mentioned about my zero-balance-credit, I would also like to apologise to those who have sent me an SMS and has not recieved a reply from me. I'm soooo sorry. I know some messages were urgent, or at least they sounded urgent to me. I hope me not replying wouldn't cause much of a problem to you. (That sounded funny.. =0P)

Anyways, wish me luck for tomorrow. To those of you who know what I'm talking about, please pray for me. To those who dont, I prefer not to mention about it now. Maybe later.

Note to Opu : All the best to you. Whatever happens, I love you. =0S

Till next time. =0)
