Crazy Cousins
I've told you before that my cousins get crazy once their placed together. Well, to strengthen my statement, here's a video of them in action. Last night, we had a family dinner and all my aunts and uncles and cousins were at my house. After dinner, the adults stayed at the dinner table, chit-chatting. The kids, on the other hand, transformed the living room into a play-pen. But it wasnt any ordinary play-pen. The play-pen became sort-of like a wrestling ring. And, when I say wrestling ring, I mean wrestling ring. They even had a spectator! This video was recorded by Ang, my younger brother. I recommend you wait until the whole video is uploaded, then watch. It's madness, I tell you. Madness.

Illusion Solution....
I almost forgot to explain how the illusional homepage I mentioned before worked. =P So, here's the illusion solution.

To those who havent visited the site, go visit it first! And, to make sure that you understand what I'm talking about, open the page in another window for reference. Okayy? So let's un-mistify the mystical ball! =]

First, let me list down all the possible numbers you could get by doing the thingy they asked you to do.

  1. If you choose number 10, 20, 30,........,90; answer : 0
  2. If you choose number 11 - 19; answer : 9
  3. If you choose number 21 - 29; answer : 18
  4. If you choose number 31 - 39; answer : 27
  5. If you choose number 41 - 49; answer : 36
  6. If you choose number 51 - 59; answer : 45
  7. If you choose number 61 - 69; answer : 54
  8. If you choose number 71 - 79; answer : 63
  9. If you choose number 81 - 89; answer : 72
  10. If you choose number 91 - 99; answer : 81

So, if you choose any two digit number, there are only ten possible answers. For all these ten answers, the symbol assigned to them are all the same. And that symbol would be the one that appears on the crystal ball when you click it. They fool you by changing the symbols every time you try, because they know when you try again, you wouldnt try the same number. So you would think that each number has their own unique symbol. The other numbers are just given other symbols randomly.

I do feel stupid thinking that I was actually amazed by this trick, thinking that someone was doing some voodoo crap on me. But it was fun. And that's all that matters. ;0)

Football Fever!
Sheessshhhh.... This 'Wold Cup' business is HUGE. There are tonnes of advertisements on the television, papers, radio, signboards, etc, bout the World Cup 2006. Crazy! Plus, there are quite a number of advertisements which I thought were about the World Cup which turned out to be an advert for something else! They are using 'football' to attract viewers..Talk about 'Football Fever'. Sheeeesshhhhhhh... Crazy.

I dont remember seeing this much adverts and publicity during the previous World Cups. I must say, Germany is good in marketing. =P But then, there is the possibility that I didnt realise the adverts before, simply because I wasnt out in the open to see them. I was in KYS when the previous World Cup took place, so I wasnt really exposed to the adverts that may have been put up. Plus, my brothers are now older and they are more interested in the games now, compared to before. Well, actually only one brother. The one who is obsessed with Arsenal. Btw, Mun, if you're reading this, (which I doubt you will), that's why I was on Arsenal's side when they went up against MU. =P Yes, I am loyal to my brother. Haha.

The World Cup 2006 is starting on the 9th of June and this is something my brother is soooo looking forward to. He is soooooo hysterical nowadays, given that this 'historical' event is only 2 weeks away. He actually counts the days for it to start. Imagine. While we watch tv, and a World Cup advert pops up, he'll just shout "17 days more!!!! Tak sabarr!!". And you know what I'll be thinking? '17 more days and my exams are over!!'

Yeah. The last day of our A-Levels exam is on the first day of the World Cup 2006. And on the night of our last paper, we are having our graduation ball a.k.a prom. That would be some night for us, huh. As Kirsty mentioned in her blog, 'Finish exams' -- 'Prom' -- 'Hang out at some mamak to watch World Cup 2006'. Haha. =P
To all you who are looking forward to this year's World Cup, relax. Only 17 days more. Better enjoy it to the fullest, because the next one is only coming in four years time.

To all you others who are not fans and have friends who are World Cup freaks, just let them enjoy. If they start to talk about the matches, just nodd along. It'll only last for a few weeks. =P

I hope I can last those few weeks. =S

And here's a little small info I know non of you World Cup freaks know about. Hahaa.

"The 2006 FIFA World Cup logo was unveiled on 19 Nov 2002. The logo depicts three laughing faces in yellow, blue and green forming the symbol '006' and inviting the world to a party for the next World Cup. The slogan in English translates as 'Friends invite the world' (Die Welt zu Gast bei Freunden). According to World Cup organizing committee president Franz Beckenbauer the logo should be referred to as 'the celebrating faces of football' and aims to convey the message that Germany will be a welcoming and friendly host. 'We believe that the new emblem perfectly expresses our philosophy of having a buoyant, cheerful and carefree tournament in 2006," the former German coach and playing legend added. 'Everybody knows that we're good at organising but we wanted to convey an other, warmer and friendlier image of Germany.'"

Monkey Management

Everyday, my dad sends out interesting short stories, which are usually taken fr books like Chicken Soup for the Soul, and also a quote, to his old friends (ex-classmates and ex-collegues) and family members. It's his way of keeping in touch with his friends and family who are constantly busy. I get these emails daily, and this is one interesting story he sent, and I wanted to share it with you. =]

MONKEY MANAGEMENT:

Start with a cage containing five monkeys. In the cage, hang a banana on a string and put a set of stairs under it. Before long, a monkey will go to the stairs and start to climb towards the banana. As soon as a monkey touches the stairs, spray the monkey with cold water. After a while, another monkey makes an attempt with the same result, and thus all the monkeys are sprayed with cold water if they try to climb the stairs. Pretty soon, when any monkey tries to climb the stairs, the other monkeys will try to prevent it. Now, turn off the cold water. Remove one monkey from the cage and replace it with a new one. The new monkey sees the banana and wants to climb the stairs. To his horror, all of the other monkeys attack him. After another attempt and attack, he knows that if he tries to climb the stairs, he will be assaulted.

Next, remove another of the original five monkeys and replace it with a new one. The newcomer goes to the stairs and is attacked. The previous newcomer takes part in the punishment with enthusiasm. Again, replace a third original monkey with a new one. The new one makes it to the stairs and is attacked as well. Two of the four monkeys that beat him have no idea why they were not permitted to climb the stairs, or why they are participating in the beating of the newest monkey. After replacing the fourth and fifth original monkeys, all the monkeys that have been sprayed with cold water have been replaced. Nevertheless, no monkey ever again approaches the stairs, why not? Because that's the way it's always been around here. And that's how company policy begins.

But then, I'm not ready. Haha. Mengade kan? Dah ade all this time pastu taknak buat ape2 about it. Well, I'm trying to. I think. Haha. Let's all pray that I get evrything in my head by the time I enter those exam halls again. Just pray. =P

A website that reads your minddd......
I was bored on a boring Friday and malas to study (of course). So, I surfed the net. Then, I came across bored.com, which has quite a number of interesting things to do. And through bored.com, I found this page which supposesly 'reads your mind'. Thinking that it was just some crappy illusion, I wanted to see the page and try it out. And thenn..............

The page really did read my mind!!! Freaky!!! Then, I asked my elder bro (Apai) to try out. And he was freaked out too!! We were jumping around, thinking that this was some voodoo crap someone did online...!! FREAKY!

But then, when you combine Apai and Yameen's mind power, miracles can happen. After being surprised for around twenty times by this 'Mind Reader', me and Apai figured out how it worked! But, I'm not gonna tell you the secret yet. Go to the site, check it out, and let me know what you think about the site. I'll tell you how they do it in my next post. Believe me, it's actually not that freaky.

The beauty of my name
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

My dad was the one who gave me my name. He actually took the name from a friend. He liked her name, which was Yasmin. He took that name, and improvised it, and that's how I was named Yazmin.

Any word can be interpreted into thousands of meanings. Well, ynoe how my dad interpreted it? "Just-mine". My dad saw the word Yazmin, which was actually from Yasmin, which was actually from Jasmine, to mean 'Just mine.' Haha. Yes, I'm a daddy's girl, and proud of it. What do u expect? I'm the only daughter he has! =P

Anyway, most 'baby's-names-books' wrote that my name did indeed come from the name of the Jasmine flower. So, basically, I'm a flower. Bunga kemboja, I think. Well, it's just a name. Doesn't really define me. I dont think I represent a flower. I'm no girly gurl. At least, I dont think so. Blek.

Actually, the main reason I posted this post was because of Opu's post about her name's meaning if it were to be in a dictionary. Here's mine.

Yazmin --

[noun]:

A person who falls into an outhouse and dies

'How will you be defined in the dictionary?' at QuizGalaxy.com

Haha. Very funny. So, if you have a friend who fell into the jamban and died, call your friend Yazmin. Blek. Watever.

Ynoe, there's a study about names? It's called ETYMOLOGY. Well, there's a study for evry single thing. Haha. And I found this in some website. Tak ingat ape.

  • Your first name of Yazmin has given you a studious nature, and the ability to concentrate on whatever you are doing.
  • You could excel in mathematics or in positions where persistence, independence, and individuality are required.

  • In personal associations, a lack of finesse in verbal expression often creates misunderstandings with others, especially with those close to you, because you find it difficult and embarrassing to express depth of feeling when situations arise requiring diplomacy, understanding, and affection.

True to some extent. =P Well, a name is a name is a name. That's all.

By the way, history is repeating itself. My friend might use my name to name his baby just like my dad did. ;0P

Bad day.
Today was not an easy day. Firstly because my first exam paper was today. I'm not sure whether it went well or not. Blek. Then, after the paper, I went to The Web only to find there was no internet connection. Fine. Then, Opu reminded me that I had to apply for my accomodation in London, and that LSE's deadline was around the corner. Little did I know, City's deadline was today. Fine. Once I got home, and got on the net, I found out that City expects us to mail the form to them, as in snail mail. Right. How was I supposed to mail some stupid form to UK and expect it to reach on that same day. Blek.

I asked for daddy's help, and got a piece of his mind (of course). He claimed that he reminded me about this accomodation crap before, but I'm pretty sure he never did. Well, I recieved all his nagging with a straight face. I had to. He was helping me to make things better. I should be grateful. And giving a straight face was the best I could do with that state of mind. I was just stressed up thinking about the physics paper I had earlier; thinking about my future. Worrying about them, actually. Plus, it's not really the good time of the month for me. God. I was thinking about everything.

And guess what I listened to as soon as I was in my room? JOSH GROBAN - TO WHERE YOU ARE. That was the song he sang in one of the episodes he acted in Ally McBeal. I needed that song, it was comforting. I've watched that particular episode like ten thousand times, and each of those times I cried listening to his voice. His voice is superb!

I knew Josh Groban from Ally McBeal. Thanx to Ali and Opu, I have all five seasons of Ally McBeal. I miss Ally. It shouldnt have ended. I so tak puas hati with how Ally ended. I am also tak puas hati with how Robert Downey Jr. left the show. It was so abrupt! So sudden! Argh!! Geramm!!! Well, I still love Ally. And I'm so gonna watch the whole five seasons after my exams. Probably with Arina. ;P I wont forget our marathon, Rinnie!

Thanx to Josh Groban's voice for making things better for me today. And, in case some of you dont know who the heck I'm talking about, here he is. Josh Groban.

Government : Good or Bad?
Yesterday, I met most of the Fearless team somewhere nobody was fearless (=P) -- the hospital. We were visiting Nizam, who was admitted in SJMC. Nizam went through a rough accident which left him with a broken leg. Initially, a good samaritan(I think) admitted him into Universiti Hospital(UH). The accident was quite serious, because Nizam apparently had to operate his broken leg, which was his right leg. However, the operation can only be done in UH in 2 weeks time, due to a long queue. Apparently, a lot of people got their legs or some other body part messed up, which could explain the long queue. =P Seeing that 2 weeks was a super long time to wait (considering Nizam was experiencing massive pain), the doctor (I think) gave him an alternative. Nizam was informed that he may be able to get his operation done in SJMC as soon as possible. It was just a matter of choice, because obviously it would cost more in SJMC because SJMC was a private hospital. Luckily, Nizam was covered by insurance and he was transported from UH to SJMC in an ambulance, which most of us (particularly me n Dot) found to be an exciting topic. Well, I've always wondered how it would be like to ride an ambulance, though I'm not hoping to ride one anytime soon. =P Heh. Don't you laugh at me. I know I'm not the only one curious about the ambulance. I know you are too.

Anyways. Alhamdulillah, Nizam's operation went well. He was semi-concious (I think) when the team visited him. He sounded fine. Ynoe, that was the first time I ever saw someone having blood dripped into his body. It was really a scary experience for me. =P I found out that Nizam has to go through all those phisiotherapy crap to get him walking again. Kesian Nizam. Plus, Kru said that Nizam might just have to kick using his left leg only, once he starts kickboxing again. Well, let's just see how it goes. My mum said if I was going through what Nizam is going through, she'll never let me kick ever again. =P

Just imagine. If Nizam was still in UH, he would still be in pain, waiting for his 'date' with the surgeon. SJMC made the whole thing pass by so much faster, and easier. Why? Because UH is a public hospital and SJMC is a private hospital. That makes all the diference. Ynow, I dont understand why the government sector should accept their label as 'slow and inefficient'. Even in Economics we learn that one way to make the economy more efficient is through privatisation, which means selling publicly owned companies to the private sector, because the private sector is more efficient. Why cant the government be more efficient? Why cant they be 'profit driven' and compete more vigorously in the market? Why cant they be more efficient?

Last week, I went to lunch with my dad and his previous secretary, Aunty Rina. FYI, my dad is retired, which explains why my dad has a 'previous secretary'. =P Anyway, my dad was a banker all his working life. Throughout our lunch, my dad and Aunty Rina were disscussing about banking stuff. Then Aunty Rina started to mention how slow Bank Negara is in dealing with other banks. Initially she didnt want to bring it up given that I am a Bank Negara scholar which would make me a future Bank Negara employee. I just laughed it off, and insisted that she continued. She complained about how undetailed Bank Negara is, about how slow Bank Negara is in terms of IT, etc.etc. I just enjoyed my lunch and nodded along. Aunty Rina was hoping that once I became an employee in Bank Negara, I would change Bank Negara's attitude, which I doubt would happen. =P

After lunch, on my way back home, I asked daddy a question I have been wanting to ask for so long. Aunty Rina's complaints about Bank Negara was not the first I have heard. I have heard tonnes of bankers saying the same thing about Bank Negara. What puzzles me, is why Bank Negara, being the Central Bank of Malaysia, not do anything to erase that image they've portrayed towards these other banks? Daddy said because they are THE Central Bank, which makes them the boss of every other bank in Malaysia, they feel superior and in control. Fine, I accept that. But why cant they be superior, yet productive? Just because they are at the top of the heirarchy doesnt mean that they should be the ones yang lagi banyak 'goyang kaki'.

Heisy. I dunno. There may be a logic to it. I mean, the government is not profit driven, that's why they dont make an effort to get things going. Bla Bla Bla. Even with all these explanations, I still dont get why it has to be that way. Cant we change? Heisy. Ntahla.

To all you UH or Bank Negara or government servants, please don't be offended. I'm just expressing another opinion of mine.

Which is insignificant to make any change anyway. Blekkkk.

The one issue I have always avoided
I was watching Oprah today. The episode started off talking about this reality tv show called "Faking It". Apparently, this show gives opportunities to people to try out a new life-style. The show tries to transform a person from what that person is born as, and judging will be held at the end of the show. This woman is and always has been a farm girl living in a barn, doing farming stuff. She wished to try-out the life-style as a high class socialite. So, "Faking It" gave her a few professionals to change almost everything about herself : her clothes, her hair, her face, taught her proper trable manners, taught her how to talk 'high class'-ly...Basically just erase any farm-traits and replace them with city-traits. They changed the way she brought herself, they changed the way she talked, they changed the way she dressed... Almost everything la.

At the end, after one month of struggling, she was put to have lunch with a bunch of other high-class socialites. Three judges were watching the whole lunch through a hidden camera, and they are supposed to choose who among all those having the lunch was the 'fake' socialite. The lady was unable to convince the judges, so she lost. But, it was a whole new experience. I mean, imagine putting urself in that situation. Trying to be someone ure not. Not easy.

The next contestant was a junk-yard guy wanting to try out as a male model. The transformation was soooo drastic!! Serioussss!! Anyway, he won! He berjaye fool all three judges! And the funny part is, two out of the three chose this guy who is a professional model! Haha! Kesian die!!

After the "Faking It' show, Oprah talked about another show - "No Opportunities Wasted". This show was hosted by the same guy who hosts Amazing Race. Anyway, this show gives people a chance to live their dream. BUT, they have to work for it themselves. The show does not just hand the dream to the person. They give him/her money and expect her to find his/her own way to get to his/her dream. And, they have to do it in 72hours. Crazy.

Jae Jae, a DJ of a local radio station wanted to DJ for the best radio station in America. "No Opportunities Wasted" just gave her the money she needed to fly to New York and find a place to stay and stuff like that. In New York, she had to go to the radio station, and just tell them that she wants to be on air. Ynoe what the receptionist of the radio station said to her? "Are you telling me, that you just came off from the streets and expect us(the radio station) to allow you to go on air?" Betul jugak kan? Gile la! She was practically a nobody! But, (as expected) the manager allowed her to go on air IF she berjaya fulfill a few tasks. Agak susah la task2 tu. But she made it. And she went on air.

But all these grandmother stories I just told you are not the main things I want to point out in this entry. I dont know what show this guy was on, but a devoted Christian tried to stay with a Muslim family for a whole month. He was forced to live in Muslim's shoes. He was made to wake up for Subuh and pray five times a day(But of course he prayed to his God) . Of course during the 30 days he was with the Muslim family, a lot of questionable issues were disscussed. There was this one time the Muslim guy told the Christian that while he was away at work, the Christian guy can't be in the house if the wife's there, because tak elok la isteri dia dok kat rumah dengan laki bukan mahram. Of course the Christian terkejut, but he just accepted it la. The Christian guy was then made to ask the public to sign a petition for something. While he was doing this, he was wearing a ketayap and a jubah. So of course these Americans agak avoid die.

Oprah interviewed this guy, of course. And he said that the experience has changed how he thinks bout Muslims, or anyone who's not a Christian. Well, he said the normal stuff you expect out of this show la. Then, Oprah interviewed the Muslim guy. There was this one time when he asked the Christian guy, Name five Muslims you know. He gave the names of Usama Bin Laden, Saddam Hussein, etc. etc. The Christian guy only knew the names of terrorists. How come he didnt mention someone like Muhammad Ali or other knowned Muslims in the American world, the Muslim guy asked. Obviously because Muslims are being seen as terrorists nowadays. Kan?

You're probably wondering why I'm making this such a big deal. I mean, we hear about this all the time. Tapi masalahnya, Oprah made me think. We always see Christians as the bad guys for looking at us Muslims as terrorists all the time. Because not all of us are like those suicidal bombers. We don't hate Christians. Especially us Malaysians. But don't you think there are actually those Christians that look at us as bad guys because we always assume that they think we are terrorists?

If you want to go to US, and your name starts with Abdul or Muhammad or something that sounds Islamic. The Visa people will double check your background just to make sure that you are a decent person who wont bomb urself to kill others. You'll get pissed off, of course. Cause you know that you wont do anything to harm people. But the prob is, they dont know that. They are just being protective. I dont think they are against Muslims, they are just being careful because the previous bombings are done by Muslims. It's all about the statistics.

I dont like talking bout this. I'm not comfortable. But this is my blog. It's my opinion. And my opinion ends here. Now, I have to go study. Exam starts next week. =P

Moral of the story, dont watch Oprah.
(And I know none of you will NOT watch Oprah)

;0P

Wiiieeerrrddd.... Wwwweeeeiiirrrdddd..... WATEVA!
IVE BEEEN TAAAGGGEEEDDDD!!!! BBbbllaaaaaaaaAAAaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ynoe, I never knew bout this tagging business. I thot blogs are solely 'personal' and free from outside influence,I guess not! Well, I've been tagged by Soraya Barakbahhhh (Whose name will be mentioned a lot in this post cause weird is her middle name..). I'm supposed to write six weird things about me, AND number them with foreign numbers. The only foreign numbering I knoe is Indonesian, which was thought by my Indonesian maid. Hahaaa! Hrrrmmm.... Ynoe, i dont think I have up to six wierd-ness. I'm a very non-wierd person. I am very proper, disciplined, and so un-weird. BETUL! I TAK TIPU! HAHA! Well, here goes...

SIJI : Okay. This is something opu calls 'wierd' but i call 'art' and u may call it 'ridiculous'. =P With the creation of digi-cams which allows you to delete or edit the pictures u take without wasting filem exposes, I like to take stupid looking pictures of myself in other peoples' cameras, or handphones. I wrote it in itsy-bitsy writing so you cant read it coz i'm embarrassed by it. =P Ok, ok. I type balik. I like to take stupid looking pictures of myself in other peoples' cameras, or handphones!! Hahaaaa!!!!!!! Here are some examples, all from Opu's camera or phone. Ni pon Opu dah delete banyak gile. She's irritated with me because of the pics, but still, I knoe she enjoys looking at those pics! Cause she looovvesss me... Kan Opu!!!!! Hahaaa!!! Here are the most 'UNembarrassing' 6 pics Opu has. Laugh all you want. BLEKKKKK.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

And to buffer all these horrendous pictures, here's a pretty picture of myself.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
HAHAAAAAA!!!!!
Saje je put this picture. It looks nice.. Just like me...

LORO : Everyone sings. Whether it's in tune or not, evryone expresses themselves through music.. Kan? Jangan tipu.. I knoe u sing. Ok. Back to the topic. Anyone who has been in a car with me, or stayed in the same dorm as me, or stayed 'near' my dorm, or has been my classmate, or basically just anyone who has come 'that' close to me, knoes that I like to sing. Plus, I like to sing the minor key to the original key of the song. As in, when I sing along, I sound like the back-up singer. Get it? I dont sing in the same key as the song, BUT I make the song sound nice. (As in, not 'not in tune') I don't know why I do that. It's just a habit. =P Alang alang we are in this 'music business', another weird habit of mine is to sing the song using my own lyrics if I cant decipher the real lyrics properly. And, usually the lyrics I sing to, are STUPID. Here are some examples. Laugh all u want. =p

1. Song : Piano Man
Original lyrics : "Sing us a song, you're the piano man". My lyrics : "Sing us a song, yellow piano man."
Haha! I actually sing that line as 'Yellow piano man!". Imagine a yellow guy, playing the piano! Hahaaa!! Agak dumb kan? But, actually, I am not THAT DUMB to imagine the piano man to be yellow...... I imagined him to wear a yellow raincoat, macam paddington bear tu. Ynoe, the cartoon bear. Haha! Wait, now I think that's dumber than thinking the piano man is yellow!!

2. Song : Coffee and Ciggarettes by Michelle Fetherstone
Original lyrics : "I must quit". My lyrics : "I'm a squid."
I heard this song in Opu's car. I've havent heard this song before. And the singer kept repeating the phrase "I must quit"(which at that time I thought was "I'm a squid") in the chorus of the song. Then, I decided to sing along with full force, at the top of my lungs!! And i kept singing "I'm a squid" over n over again! Hahaaaa!!! Imagine a girl saying over and over again, I'm a SQUID!!!! Now, that's dumb. Cause I dont think I'm a squid.. Am I? =P

3. Song : One of Maliq n d'essentials' song
Original lyrics : "Nothing to worry". My lyrics : "Chengchowores"
Now, before u call my a stupid dumb loser and think my ears are incapable of hearing, be informed that I initially thought the singer was saying something in Indonesian!!! That's why I thought it was 'Chengchowores'. I don't even know if it's an actual word. Hrrmmm.... I dont think so! Haha!!!! Just to make it clear, I didn't sing along to that song, so stop imagining me singing the word 'chengchowores'. I just asked Opu what the 'chengchowores' word meant after hearing it in the song. =P

TELU : Another weird thingy of mine - I like to make normal words sound ridiculous. Haha! I cant really recall many weird words ive created actually. Right now, I only remember two words. If you wanna knoe the others, catch me in action! Haha! Ok. First one. There was this one day when I brought buah ciku to class. I looovvveee ciku, so I brought 6 biji peeled buah ciku to eat during my break. I was having my break with Opu, and i offered Opu my ciku. But, instead of offering her a ciku, I offered her a CIKUPANG. She laughed, of course. Then throughout the day, both of us kept repeating the word cikupang and found it funny! Hahaaa!! CIKUPANNGGG!!! Ok. Next word. Usually, when someone explains something, us Malays will say ' Ye ke?'. Rite? Well, instead of 'Ye ke', I always say 'Ye kera'. Yes, I always call my friends kera(monkeys, to those of you who dont understand Malay). Wait. U think I'm weird?? Everytime I say 'Ye kera', Opu will always reply 'Ye monyet'!! Haha!!! So, Opu s the kera n I m the monyet! Me n Opu are a bunch of weird monkeys jumping around subang trying to finish our a-levelss!!! HAhaaaa!!!

PAPAT : Weird thingy number 4. I cant have anything 'almost' touching my face, cause i geli. Not touching, almost touching. If u just extend your hand towards my face, I rase geli. I'm not sure if evryone experiences this, or it's just another weird thing of mine, but I think it's merapu. If some bug comes near my face, my hands will just fly everywhere trying to get that bug away!!! nothing can come near my face! NOTHINGGGGG!!!!

LIMO : I think I'm the only person who actually has a ding-dong-bell at my ROOM door! Seriousss!! So, instead of knocking on my door, you can actually ring my bell. Why is it there, you ask? Actually, the bell is sumone else's. I just brought it back home temporarily until the person takes it back. My younger brother found the bell, and he thought it would be funny to tampal the bell outside my door. But actually kan, having a doorbell for my room is kinda cool. Korang takde doorbell! I ade! I'm unique!! HAha!!!!

NANAM : Hrrrmmm......... My last weird thing : I just found out how to spell the word weird today!!! Selama ni I though weird was spelt W-I-E-R-D........Ok ok. I knoe. That was lame. But worry not I do have another weird trait! I love to mix up my languages when i talk. Or type. Whatever. =P My friends would agree that I mix too much English and Malay. I talk both at the same time. Tooo rojak. But I dont really speak 'rojak' here in my blog la. I choose not to. I'm 'trying' to speak English just to make sure my English is still understandable to English people. =P

Okay! Done with my 6 weird thingies! Now I have to tag 6 other people... Tagggiiinnnnggg ttttiiiimmmeee!!!

1. Wong Li-Ann!

2. Arina Baharin!

3. Tania Jhannat!

4. Marisa Aisha!

5. Li Ann! (Opu's classmate. Not Li-Ann.. =P)

6. Roy a.k.a Faiz Fazilll!!!!!
I'll be waiting for ur posts!!!!!!!
;0)

WooOOOooo000hhhhooo00000....!!!!!!!!!!!
I spent quite some time searching for the right template for this thing, and after finding an 'acceptable' one, I made so many changes until it doesnt even look similar to the one I chose in the first place!! Hahaaaa!!!! Well, I am satisfied with my 'artwork', and I hope you guys like it too..Tee heeee.... =]

I spent the weekend at my grandparents' place in Ipoh. Well, not much was done. Other than my family, only Auntie Lin's family came back. So, limited number of cousins, minimal chaos happened. =P Let me brief you guys about my cousins, which from now on I'll refer to as 'rascals'. Out of the existing 12 grandchildren my grandparents have, (Yes, I knoe. It's a small number) they only have three granddaughters. The others are all boys. The three girls are me, Nadira (who's roughly 10 years younger than me) and Aleeya (who is currently just one year old). The eldest rascal in our family is Haziq, and he is as old as my youngest brother, and my youngest brother is 12 yrs old. So imagine. Most of my cousins are boys and little kids! When they get together, everything bad happens! They jump everywhere, they mess up everything, they make all sorts of noise...!!!! Well, as bad as it sounds, it's kinda interesting to watch, 'sometimes'. Going back to Ipoh is an adventure ynoe..! Haha! =P

But this time, only three of my cousins were with us. Even though all three of them are boys, there's not much they can do. =P Haha! So, this trip to Ipoh was pleasant. My hair is in place, no kittens were harmed, (believe me, they harm kittens!), and I'm glad nothing is missing.(Or maybe something is missing, but I just dont know bout it... hrmmmm....)

Even though those rascals are, 'rascals', I can't stop thinking bout how they would turn out to be once they approach their teen years. Obviously, they'll grow up to be matured and 'un-rascal-like' one day, bout how fast will that day come? When that day comes, I'm not sure whether I'll be glad or sad. I'll obviously feel glad because they wont bother me anymore, but will I be sad and miss all the silly pranks and mischief they've done? And how will they turn out to be? Superbly rebellious, or an angel, or probably an angel in disguise? Haha.. I'll be looking forward to seeing them grow..! Hope they'll turn out to be 'acceptable' people.. =P

Here's my current family tree. Well, this is only my mum's side. Maybe one day I'll talk bout my dad's side. =]
